How to use:
1. Rub the item to be tested on the black stone to leave a small sample on the stone.
2. Apply a drop of acid onto the sample on the stone.
3. Real gold, silver & platinum will stay on the touchstone, false gold, silver or platinum will be dissolved or oxidized to blue.
The purer the gold, silver or platinum, the more acid is required to dissolve it.
Please note: This test kit can only tell if the item is gold, silver or platinum but cannot tell the exact purity such as the karat of the gold.
